Blue Rivera is a four-piece band based in Vancouver, BC, composed of three brothers and a childhood friend. Initially conceived as twins Julian and Joaquin’s college studio project, the band has since evolved into a rising local act.

With all three of the brothers’ never ending childhood moves through Quebec, Mexico and Vancouver, their style has developed into a true “pot pourri” of cultural and musical influences, sharply emphasizing what it means to be multicultural Canadians.

Thanks to this and a vibrant local scene, Blue Rivera has become apart of Vancouver’s indie landscape, releasing two EP’s:“c’est la vie” (August 2024) and subsequently “sleeping” (August 2025), their latest release which channels a darker, alternative rock sound.
